Casino Night!

Happy Friday! Tonight our Sunday school class is hosting a casino night at Don Patrons to raise money for Casa el Buen Samaritano! They provide health care to low income uninsured clients in SW Houston. Currently, Casa is able to open their doors once a week or 4 times per month. We are trying to help them add a 5th night. YAY!

It'll be a great fun night with Mexican food, and casino games! Have a great weekend everyone!

Well, tonight is girls night.. and I live for this time in the week. I love unwinding with some of my faves... I love that we put on some chill music, open a bottle of wine, and talk. Talk about life, talk about where we want to go whether that be traveling, or moving on to our next adventure.. I love it.. I love this time.. I am so glad to have them in my life...:)

My creative attempt begins.. I think...

One of my closest friends is engaged and I am so excited for her! It's going to be this super fun wedding in the Rocky Mountains, and I know it'll be gorgeous! Well, another fabulous friend is taking their engagement pictures and they decided to go out on a limb and let me help style their shoot! How fun is that? Now, I'm excited about it, but I make no guarantees that it'll come out alright or even cute.. it's my first time.. and you know.. ack! Anyways, super excited, and I love them so much. I am thinking trees, his guitar, her vintage bike, her love for hydrangeas, and of course some bottles of wine... we will see how or where it goes!

hello spring...

Spring is here.. yay.. here are some peonies, fun springy dresses, and shoes that I found super fun!

So, I am in love with music.. Let me just say.. I cannot tell you enough how much I love going to concerts, and even discovering a new band! I love going place that have live music and chilling out with fantastic people! So, I put together a play list.. as you can see. It has some of my favorite chill artists, and I thought I'd share a few of their songs I enjoy...Some Joshua Radin, Ingrid Michaelson, David Gray, Ray Lamontagne, with some Wilco and of course Norah thrown in there for ya!

Oh, Kandern...

Yes, I know two in one day.. well, let me say that as I look at my brother's engagement pics it makes me think of when my parents lived in Germany. They lived in this amazing little town in the Black Forest that was on the boarder of France and Switzerland. GORGEOUS.. is all I have to say about that little town. SO pretty. I never lived there, but would always make a visit for Christmas. Here are some pictures of that tiny town called Kandern...enjoy..(pics thanks to my sister's computer)

My Brother...

I just wanted to share that my little brother got engaged last night! I am so excited for them! He is going to marry an amazing girl, and I couldn't be happier. Here are some pictures I stole of it... :) Our friend Aric who we went to Tech with has a photography business and followed them around and took some pics. Here are just a few..I love the expressions on their faces. :)
