Vintage Photography

I love Vintage everything! Let me tell you that you should check out this blog because I'm pretty sure it's one of the cutest things I've seen! I was looking at different photographers blogs and stumbled upon this one. I love looking at different photographers styles and their artistic abilities as they do a shoot. This one is amazing! I love this woman's vintage style and the way she took the pictures of these kids! They are so creative, and I just love the look!

I also love looking through vintage pictures online and creating collages on the computer, which is what my last post and this post's pictures have been. Different vintage things I like and a look I enjoy.. then I decided to collage a few of them. Hopefully one day I will be taking amazing pictures and will be able to be creative, artsy, and vintage in a fun cute way like these things.. or even like that blog. I would love to be able to take pictures like that. Well, we will see what happens my friend...

In New York...

So, for spring break two of my dear friends and I decided to go to New York. Actually, let me add we decided to go the Wednesday before Spring break. Talk about spontaneity! Which, if you ask me is the perfect way to do it. I had a travel itch people, I had to get rid of it! Funny enough though, it's still here. Oh well, we'll see how that goes...

Well, we walked around and up and down that city in the short time we were there, and it was amazing. I still want to go back again and see more! I know I missed quite a few things, but who has the time after waiting in line FOREVER to see Wicked. I mean, come on...we were dedicated.. and yes, we did it. We got in with 3 minutes to spare! Hooray! We had fabulous seats and the show completely blew me away! I mean, I had heard good things about it, but I had no idea it was going to be this good. Well, while we were waiting in the cancellation line for the tickets our legs were killing us from standing and people were dropping like flies. Camille had mentioned doing a victory dance once we got the tickets, and Lindsay said she didn't have it in her. Lindsay is dramatic as well, and of course had been saying that she was "praying all day that the Lord would give us tickets, and I don't think he wants us to have them! I don't think I have it in me to dance!" Well, to that Camille goes, "we'll get them! Don't worry!" and of course, Lindsay responded with "I don't believe in Karma and Jesus already shot me down." Ha! To that Camille and I go, what? and then just started laughing because, if you know her.. you know.. that's Linds for ya.. Never a dull moment and always dramatic random sayings that leave you puzzled.

Well, we became spies on canal street going behind moving walls to get purses, going to have breakfast in Alice and Wonderland, walking up and down Central Park listening to Jazz bands, wanting to row boats, thinking about renting bikes, and watching an old lady sit on a bench next to her scooter playing her electric guitar (my favorite part), while getting hit on by old men in Times Square (eww and hysterical..), and dancing and singing up and down Broadway. It was a great trip and it was over WAY TOO SOON.

I'm attempting creativity...

So, I decided to start a blog. I know what you're thinking.. really, Jess? And yes, people it's happening. Now, let me go ahead and warn you that I will not be one of those who posts personal diatribes about their life drama and so forth...as sand through the hour glass..no, sorry. I am in no way shape or form doing that, but I will let you know that I might randomly rant, put up things I love or things I saw that I love, or funny stories about work or my week. Otherwise.. there will be no young and the restless.. I know, I know.. you are so disappointed, but that's why I'm warning you now. Plus, get ready for it (dramatic pause) I'm trying to be creative. We'll see what that ends up meaning or turning into though! Ha!

Well,let me tell you a little about me..I tend to be sassy and dramatic at times..(don't believe everything you hear).. I also wont really care to use punctuation the correct way on this either.. most likely I'll be writing like I talk and I don't know how much I'll really be thinking about where a comma goes.. :)

Before I go I have to say that I love this girl and her adorable baby! She is hysterical, and you should look at her amazing talent of photography. And yes Sarah, I stole this picture of Elizabeth because it's my favorite!
